Meaty stuff, Scott (sorry). I worked in Marylebone in the early 1980s, and it had a very ‘villagey’ feel back then. And I love how Marylebone Station pops up in period TV dramas purporting to be quite a lot of other places.
Certainly ‘A Hard Day’s Night’ made Marylebone station look chaotic rather than the quietness of real life
