Further to my last comment: My father's great grandparents lived in Harley Street in the 1820s. They weren't doctors, though!

Engaging as always! Re ‘between’: it doesn’t necessarily mean ‘two’. It means you’re thinking of each of the places as distinct entities. ‘Among’ doesn’t have the individual connotation. 👍🏻

Thanks for your support. Though we’ll need to agree to differ on ‘between’. The ‘tw’ in the word derives from the word ‘two’

Indeed. But some words shift meaning over time. September is no longer the seventh month. Let’s agree to differ 😊. But I do enjoy your blog, Scott. I only occasionally visit London, but when I do, I try to explore an area you’ve recently written about.

That’s quite an honour! Happy to take requests for places to cover in future

My occasional visits to London are to visit my brother, who lives between Kentish Town and Tufnell Park. If that’s a neighbourhood with a story to tell, I’d love to hear it. But only if you think it’s worth it, of course!

I’ve yet to tackle Tufnell Park but I did walk between Kentish Town and Camden Town at the beginning of August. So if you don’t mind a wait until I walk those streets, I’ll get to Tufnell Park sometime during the Spring next year!

Really interesting, I love the maps too.

How about a post on Clerkenwell? And St John's Gate? My father was Secretary-General of the Order of St John and his office was in the Gatehouse.

I’ve done a walk from Kings Cross to Farringdon. When I edit that video, I’ll write up Clerkenwell at the same time. Your father had a great job!
